Over View
First of all, this is a “PRIVATE” hike! Yes, so you won’t be joining anyone else on the hike – you’ll only be accompanied by your local guide. We will start from the temple parking area (1.330 ASL) – 45 minutes from main parking.
• Pick-up at 02.00-03:00 depending on your hotel
• 04.00 – Arrive at the starting point, stretch and the guide will give a briefing. Hike for about an hour and a half until you reach the peak point of 1717 Meters above sea level
• Capture your moment by snapping a beautiful view of the lake against the backdrop of the sunrise from the east- enjoy a banana sandwich and a hard-boiled egg for breakfast
• Continue the journey to the crater of the mountain, then prepare to return to the starting point
• Arrive at the starting point, and continue the journey to visit a local coffee plantation to find out how the local coffee & tea are traditionally processed – all done by hand
• Finally, back to your hotel
